9th International Contemporary Art Fair ART PRAGUE took place in Prague from may 11 to May 16, 2010.
The art fair was accompanied by galleries from the czech republic, The Netherlands, Germany, France and newly also from Switzerland and Taiwan.
Visitors to this 2000 m2 fair could see and buy original pieces of all art techniques, such as paintings, drawings, graphics, plastic art, installations, open air projects and video art. The fair, apart from works by renowned artists (Sykora, Rittstein, etc.), also presented works of the youngest generation – the graduates of Czech art schools.The youngest generation will be presented by The Chemistry Gallery and by Avoid Gallery.
This year winner of the UniCredit Bank Art Prague Young Award 2010 is Jan Kaláb, the price was taken over by Petr Hájek – The Chemistry gallery.
