The Chemistry Gallery has the great pleasure to invite you to the exhibition “BORDERLINE - photography“ – exhibition
of Portugese photographer Cláudio Barrudo.
The Opening will take place on Thursday, September 30, 2010, at 7:00 p.m.
The “BORDERLINE - photography“ exhibition at The Chemistry Gallery is part of an exhibition project Portrait of an artist, portrait of a city realized in the cooperation with the Portugese gallery das Salgadeiras.
Cláudio Garrudo presents at the Borderline series, his most recent work having has as metaphor the functioning named Borderline, where the photographer explores different extreme situations like death or insanity, and multiple identities, incarnating other personalities.
In the photography series presented at the exhibition, Cláudio Garrudo resorts to his own body as “object” of the photographed scene, he becomes voyeur of himself, putting himself at the same level as the observer. We see one another and ourselves.
The exhibition will continue in The Chemistry Gallery from September 30 until October 27, 2010.
